About 10 years ago, Kayla Keith’s dad called her and said, “A flower shop is for sale.” They bought it, jumped in and figured it out along the way. The business was sort of struggling at the time, but Kayla saw an opportunity to combine something she loved—art—with the freedom of building something of her own.

Today, Jefferson House is much more than a flower shop. From weddings, proms and funerals to a boutique, event space, salon and their Willow Sympathy Room, Kayla has continued to evolve the business by buying things, trying things and seeing what works.

“Success isn’t about being rich. It can mean flexibility, freedom and building a life that works for you.🌷
