Kelly Hopkins
Born and raised in Kokomo, I’m proud to call this community home. I graduated from Kokomo High School and went on to play volleyball at Ball State University for five years, where I earned my degree in Journalism Graphics and later my Master’s in Emerging Media Design and Development. Since earning my bachelor’s in 2015, I’ve worked as a professional graphic designer, including freelancing. Currently, I serve as the Creative Specialist for HardingPoorman, where I’ve had the privilege of working with several well-known brands across various industries. My experience has allowed me to refine my skills in design, branding, and client collaboration. In addition to my design career, I coach the girls’ and boys’ volleyball teams at Kokomo High School. Coaching has deepened my passion for mentoring young adults and helping them grow, both on and off the court. Over the years, I’ve built strong connections with local business owners, often through design and branding projects, and I love supporting and engaging with the Kokomo community. After attending the annual Facilitator Retreat, I’m even more inspired by the Kokomo CEO program’s potential and eager to dive into this year. My goal is for every participant to leave with real-world skills and experiences that prepare them for the future. We’ll grow together, and I’m excited to learn alongside the students as we navigate this journey. Let’s make this year amazing!
