The lanyard project is officially complete! 🪪

This is the first project our students take on as a CEO class and the whole point is to figure it out. They’re given only a few details and a goal. From there, it’s up to them to make it happen.

That means figuring out who to contact, scheduling meetings, communicating professionally, making the ask, following up, keeping track of details and working together as a team. There’s no step-by-step instruction sheet — just a real project with real people and real expectations.

This group rocked it. They stepped outside their comfort zones, connected with professionals throughout our community and learned very quickly that sometimes the best way to learn how to do something is simply to start doing it.

Most importantly, this project wouldn’t be possible without the businesses and organizations that chose to invest in our students!

A huge thank you to our 2026–27 lanyard sponsors:

⭐ Ruoff Mortgage Dirk Webster
⭐ DSI Together with Bona Vista
⭐ Community First Bank
⭐ Chariot Automotive Group
⭐️ The Wyman Group
⭐ Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Kokomo
⭐ Advanced Medical Imaging
⭐ Kokomo Creek Chubs
⭐ Merrell Bros., Inc.
⭐ Nick Pate State Farm & Financial Services Inc

Thank you for investing in these students and giving them the opportunity to learn by doing!
