🌱🍦 This week our CEO crew visited Cream & The Crop, one of Kokomo’s coolest spots for ice cream, old-fashioned sodas, plants, and locally grown produce.
After Ivy Tech, serving in the military, including combat, and retiring from Chrysler, Shawn Clark turned his attention to entrepreneurship. From window washing to restaurants, each step led him to Cream & The Crop, where he’s now pouring his energy into building community.
What makes Cream & The Crop different is more than what’s on the menu (though Wisconsin-made ice cream is tough to beat!). Shawn told us, “I love when someone comes in here and has never heard of us.” The genuine customer base keeps him going.
And while some have suggested a drive-thru, Shawn said no… because for him, “building a community is important.” This space is about slowing down, connecting, and enjoying happy stuff… because you can’t be mad eating ice cream.
His message to us: “You can all be bosses. Keep working hard. Keep grinding.”
