This morning we visited Vision Studio, a creative space where photographers, videographers, and content creators can bring their ideas to life. From professional headshots and brand shoots to podcasts and creative projects, Vision Studio has quickly become a hub for local talent.

Founder Ahmad McKinnie shared his journey, from picking up a camera at the Career Center, photographing his friends and filming for an apartment complex during his time at IU, to realizing he could turn his passion into a business.

His advice hit home for our group:

“You’re gonna pivot. A lot. It’s part of life. Find something you love and double down on it.”

Ahmad’s vision came full circle when he officially opened the studio just one year after starting the business, insisting: “If you’re gonna do something, do it right.”
