Giving Back

Our $2,000 Donation to The Crossing

The Crossing is a local non-profit empowering struggling students to become contributing members of their communities through academics, job training and faith-based character education. We learned about The Crossing when we sponsored some of their students for our CEO Summit in Jan. We decided to donate $2,000 from our Summit profit, to help them continue the great work they're doing in our community. We've been told repeatedly by entrepreneurs to give back to your community, so we wanted to put back into this community that's given so much to us.

To surprise Amy Roe with a check and see her tearful response made us all realise that this was about so much more than money. It was about helping The Crossing influence more lives for the better--this was about making a real difference in the lives of other students. This moment marked our team as much or more than it marked Amy Roe and her team at The Crossing.

We huddled up outside after Amy "hugged us" goodbye. Morgan looked us in the eyes and said, "Because you worked hard, you were able to make a difference in other peoples' lives today. You are all difference-makers, put here to leave this world better than you found it. This is just the beginning of the lives you will impact and the difference you will make in this world. I am so proud of you!"

This was one of those poignant moments that we realised just how fortunate we are to be part of the Kokomo CEO family.

CEO Dog Day

It's become a Kokomo CEO tradition: Dog Day! Healthy teams enjoy each other and create activities to do just that. We've learned that teams and the people you work with matter. And experiences like Dog Day are about more than dogs; it's about honoring and enjoying the people you've done the hard work with. It's about celebrating the team and peeking into our personal lives and our cute little (and not so little) pets. And it's a great way to start your day!

Giving Back to Inventrek

Inventrek graciously hosted us for our winter homebase. We noticed that the large room they shared had a TV that was undersized for the space. So we took some of the profit from our CEO Summit and gifted Mike McCool and Inventrek a brand new 65" 4K television. As the director of Inventrek, Mike was very appreciative. As one of our board members he was equally proud of our team's accomplishments and generosity.

Congratulations Kokomo CEO '18

We are so proud of You!

It's with all the enthusiasm and at the same time a bit of sadness that I congratulate you on your high school career and wish you well on your college plans, CEO '18!

You have risen to every challenge and exceeded expectations on so many occasions. You have enriched the brand of Kokomo CEO by how you've gone about your business and respected relationships this year. Your achievements in our Summit and Trade Show reached new heights. And at this time of year, it's so apparent how rich our relationships are, within our team and also woven through our community. CEO '18, I could not be more proud of you and am fortunate to count you as friends!

Get Involved in CEO

The manner in which the CEO program is funded is critical to its success and sustainability. All funds raised are used exclusively for the Kokomo CEO program. To participate, a 3-year $1000 per year commitment is required. Business Partner Investors commitments of time and energy are also critical to the program's success. Contributions may be tax deductible, as our organization is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization.

When we are not touring local businesses, we need a place to host the class. During that time, the 0 CEO students and their Facilitator would meet at your site where they would also have guest speakers and guests from the community attend. Hosting requires a facility with internet access and adequately accommodates up to 5 people.

We are looking for people to share real-life stories about the concepts of running a business, from strategic thinking, product development to marketing, and cash flow management. Also, sharing your personal successes and failures are what recent classes have enjoyed the most.

If you are interested in participating in any of the above programs, use our contact form to send us a message
