Andrea Peterson

Western High School

As a highly motivated senior at Western HS I am a member of the Girls Golf and Tennis teams; also Senior Class Pres and an active member in the Nat'l Honors Society. Some of my personal goals include becoming fluent in Spanish, studying abroad in college, and starting my own business that will improve the community in which I live. I've admitted into IU's Kelley School of Business where I will plan to study finance and marketing. This program has given me firsthand experience in the business field by learning successful behaviors directly from local CEOs. I am excited to one day have my own business in which future CEO classes can tour.

Andrea is in-process of launching her business, Eco Pouch. Check it out:

David Sullivan

Saber Management

This was an insprirational conversation from a man of modest beginnings, who played with the '73-'74 Cleveland Browns and has just sold his co., Saber Management to Toronto-based Park Lawn Corp. "It takes courage to be great--the courage to do what others won't do." "Culture is incredibly important to a successful organization; I look for uniters not dividers and leaders not followers." He is also the father of Kokomo CEO, Grace Sullivan.

Dr Alan Krabbenhoft

IUK Business School
The Dean of IUK's Business School returned to help us understand Cost Structures and Break-Even Analysis. This was interesting in that there is a specific way to compute your break-even point, yet many production strategies to affect proftability. As usual, Dr K helped us contextualize financial concepts that we were heretofore unfamiliar with.

Get Involved in CEO

The manner in which the CEO program is funded is critical to its success and sustainability. All funds raised are used exclusively for the Kokomo CEO program. To participate, a 3-year $1000 per year commitment is required. Business Partner Investors commitments of time and energy are also critical to the program's success. Contributions may be tax deductible, as our organization is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization.

When we are not touring local businesses, we need a place to host the class. During that time, the 15 CEO students and their Facilitator would meet at your site where they would also have guest speakers and guests from the community attend. Hosting requires a facility with internet access and adequately accommodates up to 20 people.

We are looking for people to share real-life stories about the concepts of running a business, from strategic thinking, product development to marketing, and cash flow management. Also, sharing your personal successes and failures are what recent classes have enjoyed the most.

If you are interested in participating in any of the above programs, use our contact form to send us a message
