Business Plans w/Bob Hickman

Community First Bank

Who better to prepare us for business plans in advance of Banker Day than an Exec VP with 30 years experience reviewing business plans? Bob does a masterful job of clearly explaining what bankers are looking for in a business plan.

On Banker Day (April 11) we will each sit down 1-on-1 with several bankers and share our business plans and visions for our individual businesses for real world feedback.

Predictable Success

Mark Malin
To help us better understand ourselves, Mark Malin led us on an eye-opening discussion of Les McKeown's Predictable Success. Before he came, we each took an online assessment to determine whether we were a visionary, synergist, processor or operator. This was invaluable information that can set us up to win throughout our lives!

DiSC Workshop

Patty Pavey

Now in our fourth year of Kokomo CEO, this 4-hour DiSC workshop by Patty Pavey was far and away the best personality assessment we've experienced! The time flew by and the interaction helped us soak in the concept of the Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Conscientiousness styles. Thank you, Patty, for bringing this to our attention and for great facilitating!

Monty Henderson

Starting Your Business

Monty has a wealth of information having helped businesses get started for well over a decade with the ISBDC. He gave us great hands-on, down to earth wisdom such as FFF Financing: Family, Friends and Fools! He always walked us through the broad strokes and details of registering a business as a sole proprietorship, LLC, S-Corp and C-Corp.

Monty has just been named Regional Dir for the Hoosier Heartland ISBDC. Click here for more info.

Get Involved in CEO

The manner in which the CEO program is funded is critical to its success and sustainability. All funds raised are used exclusively for the Kokomo CEO program. To participate, a 3-year $1000 per year commitment is required. Business Partner Investors commitments of time and energy are also critical to the program's success. Contributions may be tax deductible, as our organization is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization.

When we are not touring local businesses, we need a place to host the class. During that time, the 15 CEO students and their Facilitator would meet at your site where they would also have guest speakers and guests from the community attend. Hosting requires a facility with internet access and adequately accommodates up to 20 people.

We are looking for people to share real-life stories about the concepts of running a business, from strategic thinking, product development to marketing, and cash flow management. Also, sharing your personal successes and failures are what recent classes have enjoyed the most.

If you are interested in participating in any of the above programs, use our contact form to send us a message
