How to Excel at a Trade Show

Patty Pavey

We owe so much to Patty of TTD Coaching for equipping us to be trade show "experts!" It was a bit like getting a drink out of a fire hose but her practical and applicable coaching will be a primary reason why our trade show will be a success.

Kokomo CEO Trade Show / Wed April 25th, Bel Air Events / FREE & open to the public

Blue Oceans, Red Oceans

David & Nan Braun

David and Nan led us on a challenging, professional-level discussion on the dynamics of our market as it relates to Red Oceans (lots of competitors, ie "blood in the water.") and Blue Oceans (no competitors, no "sharks" so the water isn't "bloody"). There were a lot of take-aways from this discussion!

"The more saturated the market, the more you have to convince your banker that you're worth the risk...The worst thiing you can do is lie to yourself--you need 'supportive critics' who are truth-tellers...The more complexity to your business concept, the more risk is involved."

Self-Evaluation

Our Team

Thursday we had Morgan leave the room and we put together a self-evaluation. We revisited expectations, agreed on where we were, where we needed to grow and then presented our results to Morgan. It was great to pause and really reflect on where we were back in Aug and where we are now on the other side of our CEO Summit. The journey has been amazing and we're not even done!

"I probably couldn't have written a better evealuation of our team if I tried---great job everyone!" -facilitator, Morgan Young.

Get Involved in CEO

The manner in which the CEO program is funded is critical to its success and sustainability. All funds raised are used exclusively for the Kokomo CEO program. To participate, a 3-year $1000 per year commitment is required. Business Partner Investors commitments of time and energy are also critical to the program's success. Contributions may be tax deductible, as our organization is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization.

When we are not touring local businesses, we need a place to host the class. During that time, the 15 CEO students and their Facilitator would meet at your site where they would also have guest speakers and guests from the community attend. Hosting requires a facility with internet access and adequately accommodates up to 20 people.

We are looking for people to share real-life stories about the concepts of running a business, from strategic thinking, product development to marketing, and cash flow management. Also, sharing your personal successes and failures are what recent classes have enjoyed the most.

If you are interested in participating in any of the above programs, use our contact form to send us a message
