CEO Business Visits

Meet Lauren Hickey

Eastern High School

I am the only senior from Eastern High School in Greentown. I am involved in Girls Tennis, Student Council (Pres.), Spanish Club (VP), National Honors Society, among others. I volunteer for We Care every year with my Spanish Club and help my community on the Day of Caring. I am very involved in tennis, locally and regionally; I intend to continue my tennis career in college. So far, CEO has already taught me so much about life and business, and I cannot wait to see what the rest of the year holds. I plan to attend DePauw University or Marian University to study Political Science and Business, with a Pre-Professional track in Pre-Law.

The Business of Communication

Mary Baker
As the Dir of Customer Service for AndyMark Inc, Mary Baker did a great job walking us through the ins and outs of written communication including texts, email and written communication. She also provided great advice about the permanence of social media.

Generations of Success

Rex Gingerich, Button Dodge

We were inspired by Rex Gingerich, Mike Lupoi and a host of others newer to the Button team. Rex took us through his Circle of Success while Mike gave us an empassioned charge to discover our unique gifts, passions and skills.

"A challenging customer is usually just a person with a problem they need help solving." "You have to learn to 'run when it hurts,' if you want to get better."

Get Involved in CEO

The manner in which the CEO program is funded is critical to its success and sustainability. All funds raised are used exclusively for the Kokomo CEO program. To participate, a 3-year $1000 per year commitment is required. Business Partner Investors commitments of time and energy are also critical to the program's success. Contributions may be tax deductible, as our organization is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization.

When we are not touring local businesses, we need a place to host the class. During that time, the 15 CEO students and their Facilitator would meet at your site where they would also have guest speakers and guests from the community attend. Hosting requires a facility with internet access and adequately accommodates up to 20 people.

We are looking for people to share real-life stories about the concepts of running a business, from strategic thinking, product development to marketing, and cash flow management. Also, sharing your personal successes and failures are what recent classes have enjoyed the most.

If you are interested in participating in any of the above programs, use our contact form to send us a message
